foodpanda Brings Holiday Warmth to Cebu Through “We Gotchu” Christmas PANDAriwang Initiative
Foodpanda wrapped the holiday season in warmth and compassion as they brought Pasko Na, We Gotchu: Christmas PANDAriwang to Cebu—an outreach initiative dedicated to uplifting patients, medical frontliners, and local hospital staff through simple acts of kindness.
Bringing Comfort to Patients and Frontliners
Cebu City Medical Center, a public hospital greatly affected by recent calamities, became the heart of this year’s celebration. Foodpanda volunteers visited multiple wards to distribute fruit baskets, while partner riders delivered hundreds of ready-to-eat meals to patients, doctors, nurses, and security personnel—giving them a well-deserved boost during the busy holiday season.
A Surprise Visit From Pau-Pau
To brighten the day of children and young patients, foodpanda prepared special plushie gifts, sparking smiles and excitement. Pau-Pau, foodpanda’s beloved mascot, joined the room-to-room visits, spreading joy and bringing a festive atmosphere that lifted the spirits of patients and their families.
A Tradition of Care and Community
“Our mission has always been anchored on care for communities,” shared Patricia Jacinto, Director for Growth and Marketing at foodpanda Philippines. Through PANDAriwang, foodpanda continues its tradition of delivering not just food—but comfort, care, and moments of joy, especially for those who need it most.
The Cebu outreach is part of a nationwide series of holiday efforts as foodpanda teams continue to visit and support more communities this Christmas season.
