The Shops at Mandani Bay, the region’s most-awaited dining and retail hub has been officially unveiled, against the backdrop of the glittery Christmas Village by the Bay.

Christmas Village by the Bay calls Cebu to celebrate with dรฉcor inspired by native parols, carols and the loaded Noche Buena!

The Shops at Mandani Bay and the Christmas Village by the Bay rolled out at the traditional Christmas by the Bay, which included the ceremonial turnover of to Mandaue City Mayor Thadeo “Jonkie” Ouano Mandani Bay’s P500,000 donation for the city’s Typhoon Tino relief efforts. 

Mandani Bay Project Advisor Jeffrey Lun, expressing that Mandani Bay’s lifestyle spaces have been created for everyone – not just residents – said, “We look forward to having you create here happy moments to last far beyond the holidays.” Referencing the devastation brought by Tino, Lun emphasized that Christmas, a time of great hope, is the season to look forward to brighter days ahead.


Lun, together with Atty. Vince Tomaneng, Mr. Richard Poon, Edward Gaisano, Mayor Ouano, Margaret Gaisano Ang, Gilbert Ang, and Mr. Eljay Andrada, headlined the ceremonial lighting of the Mandani Bay Christmas trees, now in their new location at The Boardwalk at Mandani Bay. The Christmas spirit was amplified by the performance of Richard Poon and his hornets.

A parade of fairies and mascots on stilts, a queue of dancers in lighted Filipino costumes, the village light-up at The Shops Mandani Bay, and an explosive fireworks display rounded out the impressive event. 

Mandani Bay is Cebu’s only master-planned waterfront community. Its state-of-the-art residential features, and enviable lifestyle spaces, including the 500-meter The Boardwalk, are all designed to ignite the passions of culture, creativity, adventure and water, and transform Cebu into a world-class lifestyle destination.
